Growing up amidst the vines, Kiera has absorbed the intricacies of vineyard life, igniting a passion that continues to evolve and define her journey within the family business.

Kiera’s time in the vineyards has seen her responsibilities progress, now active in her formal role as Vineyard Assistant, Kiera actively contributes to the vineyard’s daily operations, collaborating closely with her father to uphold the standards of excellence that defines Flinders Run Wines. From overseeing the irrigation management, to meticulously pruning vines, or attending to the vineyard’s daily needs, Kiera rolls up her sleeves and gets on with the job, and during harvest she’s right by her father’s side assessing the fruit and participating in the cellar operations. Kiera’s commitment and attention to detail renders her an indispensable asset to the Flinders Run team.

Beyond her hands-on involvement, Kiera is committed to furthering her knowledge and expertise in the field. Currently pursuing a degree in Oenology and Viticulture at Adelaide University, Kiera is driven by a steadfast ambition to helm the winemaking processes at Flinders Run, safeguarding the legacy and prosperity of the winery for generations to come. Her academic pursuits serve not only to enrich her understanding of the winemaking processes, but also to equip her with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of the industry and drive Flinders Run Wines forward to continued success.
