We knew from the first trials of the 2001 and subsequent 2003 vintages that the Flinders Run wines were going to be something special, but nothing prepared us for the overwhelming success, we would experience with the release of the 2005 Vintage.
Subsequent vintages have been crafted in the same careful manner exhibiting a consistency in flavour and style and most importantly capturing the elegance of region climate and above all varietal character.

Flinders Run Shiraz
Wine Colour: Glass staining, ruby with a bright rim of purple hues.
Wine Bouquet: This wine portrays sexy, potent aromas of black and red raspberries, with cherry-vanilla, smokey minerals and incense.
Wine Palate: A slight sweet personality lingers from the rich ripe fruity berry flavours which stain the palate and betray no tannins. Gains power and sweetness with air and finishes with excellent clarity and oak-spiced persistence.
Cellaring Notes: This wine has enormous immediate appeal but will benefit from some cellar time to develop and evolve into a lovely bouquet of native Australian flowers.
A pleasure to drink! |

Flinders Run ( Little Flinders) Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine Colour: Almost black in colour with deep purple hues of glass staining ruby.
Wine Bouquet: Hints of coffee on the nose with spicy oak, red and black berries, a seamless mouth filling blend of shiraz and cabernet sauvignon with very fine grained tannins.
Wine Palate: Coffee red berries, black berries, black currants fill the palate.
This parcel of wine is wonderfully balanced with lingering flavours of coffee and mixed berry with a light veil of tannin

Flinders Run Chardonnay
Wine Colour: Graceful bottle age has given this wine a slight straw colour with a touch of green around the edges.
Wine Bouquet: Aromatics of stone fruit and citrus compliment the palate with lush creamy notes of stone fruit salad with a hint of pineapple and lemon grape fruit citrus.
Wine Palate: There is a lovely mineral finish that frames this wine nicely.
Surprisingly, for a warm climate region, this is a very attractive Chardonnay.
